What's On Offer
* Base salary from $216,300 to $310,389 (based on experience)
* Private Patient Scheme (PPS): Earn up to 35% additional salary on top of base + on-call

About the Role
Join a high-performing, collegiate department delivering a wide range of anaesthesia services, with an emphasis on
cardiac surgery and TOE
. This is a
600-bed teaching hospital
with a diverse caseload including:
* Cardiac (incl. coronary artery and valve surgery)
* Trauma and neuro
* Vascular and major general surgery
* Obstetrics and high-risk cases
You Will
* Deliver specialist anaesthetic care with a focus on cardiac surgery
* Perform and interpret transoesophageal echocardiography (TOE)
* Participate in on-call roster, research, and teaching through links with the University of Tasmania and Menzies Institute
Who We're Looking For
* Fellowship of ANZCA or equivalent (FANZCA, FRCA, FCAI)
* Subspecialty training in cardiac anaesthesia
* Experience with intraoperative TOE
* Eligible for Specialist Registration with AHPRA, or via the Specialist Pathway for IMGs
* Recent experience in a tertiary setting preferred
