We are seeking a highly skilled healthcare professional to join our team as an occupational health specialist. This is a permanent opportunity based in the Gold Coast, offering a competitive base salary and superannuation.
The ideal candidate will have current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with AHPRA, or a similar clinical background. Experience in occupational health, workplace assessments, or a related field is desirable but not essential. We offer training opportunities for the right candidate.
Your key responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive workforce medicals and assessments, ensuring employees are fit for work and compliant with relevant industry health standards. This will involve:
* Conducting thorough pre-employment/health assessments, including functional capacity evaluations, drug and alcohol testing, and health surveillance checks at office or client sites
* Performing audiometry, spirometry, and ECGs as part of workplace medicals
* Maintaining accurate health records and collaborating with a team to finalize compliant assessments
About You:
* A Registered Nurse (RN) with current AHPRA registration
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a larger team
* Excellent administrative and case management skills, with attention to detail for reporting
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
