What we're looking for
Someone who enjoys a role with great diversity, working autonomously on everyday tasks, whilst also being engaging, responsive and supportive when working as part of a team.
You need to be confident to ask questions, be open to feedback and able to work with multiple management styles.
Immediate tasks will be broad and will include:
Accounts:
Support the Head of Finance with financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting.
Deliver monthly and quarterly reporting, including accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.
Responsible for bank reconciliations, company accounts and credit cards.
Processing vendor payments and client invoices.
On a regular basis, manage reporting required and liaise with the bookkeeper and accountant on this, ensuring all information is collated accurately.
Perform monthly financial tasks for the Business Manager, Founder and the firm and liaise with the bookkeeper, accountant and other consultants as required.
Manage and collate timesheets and prepare payroll for the Business Manager.
Process staff leave requests and reconcile to payroll/Xero.
Practice a high level of discretion to handle extremely confidential matters.
Team Assistance:
Support and assist the team when required.
Assist in administration of accurate shift work rostering, overtime/annual leave/sick days for monthly payroll.
Maintain staff records, staff qualifications and action monthly compliance checks.
Vehicle maintenance and coordinating fleet vehicle requirements (vehicle services, fuel cards and receipts).
Assisting in organising training – booking rooms, liaising with suppliers and coordinating field staff.
General administration to assist the efficiency of field operatives.
Provide wider admin support to the team as needed and complete ad hoc projects as assigned.
Demonstrate a flexible and hands-on approach with the ability to multitask to make things happen.
