Key Leadership Role in Cancer Services
The Director of Operations will work in close partnership with the Program Director to lead and coordinate the delivery of safe, high-quality, cost-effective services across cancer programs.
* Leadership and coordination of day-to-day operations across cancer services
* Oversight of quality and patient safety initiatives
* Financial control and achievement of performance targets
* Strategic and workforce planning
* Collaboration with senior management and external partners
This is a key leadership role requiring someone with strong clinical governance capability, exceptional communication skills, and a proven ability to manage complex health services. A proven track record of building and overseeing high-performing teams is essential.
Responsibilities:
* Registration with professional bodies as a clinician (nursing or allied health)
* A tertiary qualification in healthcare, preferably with postgraduate qualifications in health or business management
* Demonstrated experience leading large, complex health programs
* Success in operational and strategic planning, financial management, and service improvement
* A commitment to evidence-based care, research, and innovation
* Ability to work collaboratively and influence across diverse stakeholder groups
* Experience in managing complex organizational change
