Team Leader – Mental Health and Wellbeing (Local Wyndham)
Alfred Health is a leader in health care delivery, improvement, research and education. This role is based at the St Kilda Road Clinic and is part of the upcoming Bayside Health merger, which will create a larger, integrated health service for over 1.2 million Victorians. The position is permanent, full‑time with flexible monthly ADO, and requires an Occupational Therapist or Social Worker (Grade 3+) with experience in community mental health.
About The Position
* Operate the core values of the organisation and develop excellence in clinical practice and patient care.
* Coordinate the day‑to‑day operational and clinical activities of the HOPS team.
* Provide leadership, clinical direction and support to team members, and maintain a safe and effective environment for consumers, carers, visitors and staff.
* Manage a small client case load (0.5).
* Collaborate with partner agencies (Sacred Heart Mission, Launch Southbank) to coordinate education sessions and provide secondary consultation, assessment and advice.
* Supersede operational supervision of all staff, promote clinical education, staff development, and lead participation in quality improvement initiatives and service development activities.
About You
* At least 4 years of Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or Social Work.
* Alternative qualification: Bachelor of Nursing or Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing.
* Registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board, Occupational Therapy Board via AHPRA or eligibility for membership with AASW.
* Advanced clinical skills and experience in community mental health.
* Demonstrated senior leadership experience.
* Post‑graduate qualifications in management are highly regarded.
* Full COVID‑19 and 2024 Influenza vaccinations.
