Key Responsibilities
* Conduct site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with WHS policies and procedures
* Contribute to maintaining, recommending and implementing continuous improvements of WHSE programs
* Provide guidance and continuous feedback to employees on safe working procedures
* Establish collaborative and supportive relationships to achieve effective safety outcomes
* Support and facilitate incident investigation processes
Qualifications
* Proven experience in WHS and delivering health and safety outcomes on civil projects
* Certificate IV in OHS
* Solid understanding of relevant legislation, regulation and industry best practices
* Knowledge of Government training policies and Indigenous Procurement
* Demonstrated ability to plan and schedule safety programs
* High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook, Word
* Ability to lead WHS communications in small groups
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to develop good rapport with people at all levels
* Hold a current driver's licence with reliable transport
