Job Description
A vacancy has arisen for a Cook who is required to deliver a high standard of Catering Services across P&K; Hospital sites based at Perth Royal Infirmary to patients, staff and visitors whilst maintaining a clean, safe working environment. You must have a working knowledge of HACCP, Health & Safety and COSHH procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high standard catering services across P&K; Hospital sites.
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
- Follow instructions, work as part of a team or on your own initiative.
- Respond constructively to unpredictable situations and cope under pressure.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a large scale catering environment.
- Knowledge of work procedures, practices and equipment through experience and qualified qualifications to City & Guilds 706/1, 706/2 or SVQ/NVQ Level 3 standard.
- Ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative, follow instructions and possess good communication skills.
- Must achieve mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
Employment Details
Hours of work: 37 hours per week; between 0600 and 1730, weekend on, weekend off.
