* Under supervision of a Registered Nurse, participate in the provision of safe, compassionate, person-centred care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary health care team to achieve quality care outcomes for patients and clients.

* Current Health Service Assistant Certificate III (Acute Care).
* Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills within a multidisciplinary team and ability to document every occasion of service accurately and timely.
* Experience in providing quality, efficient, person-centred care within a multidisciplinary team.
* Ability to work in accordance with Far West LHD and NSW Ministry of Health policies and procedures.
* Clear understanding that tasks and clinical practice are delegated and supervised by the Registered Nurse at all times.
