Job Title: Facilities Management Coordinator
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Property Services team as a key leader in facilities and asset management. The role will involve leading a team of professionals to manage the lifecycle of our building assets, ensuring their long-term sustainability.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in facilities and asset management, project delivery, budget oversight, and team leadership. They will possess strong communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors, and community groups.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop team members to achieve operational and strategic objectives.
* Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors, and community groups.
* Develop, implement, and review the building asset management plan to guide annual and long-term capital works.
* Oversee inspections, maintenance, and renewals of building assets aligned with the developed asset management plan, city policies, and safety legislation.
* Coordinate design, scope, and delivery of minor refurbishment projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and safety standards.
* Manage service delivery contracts to ensure operational and public facilities meet agreed standards.
* Monitor and manage budgets informed by strategic planning and maintenance priorities, recommending adjustments as required.
Requirements:
* Extensive experience in facilities and asset management, project delivery, budget oversight, and team leadership.
* Strong background in project management, including procurement, contract administration, and delivery of capital works.
* Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing and developing teams to achieve operational and strategic objectives.
* Knowledge of WHS practices, facilities management, and building maintenance principles and statutory regulations.
* A degree in Building, Construction, Asset Management, and/or Project Management or relevant qualification with significant experience.
