We are seeking a trade assistant to join our team part time with the possibility of progressing to a full time roll.
Job Description
Your primary responsibility will be to assist our team by performing various tasks related to upholstery production. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
You will assist with the preparation and cutting of upholstery materials according to specifications, operate tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications and Skills
Previous experience in upholstery or a related field is a bonus, however, our team of qualified upholsterers will provide all the training required.
Must possess the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, be physically fit and capable of lifting heavy furniture pieces and have a willingness to learn. Must have current drivers license.
