About the role
Cannabis Doctors Tasmania is seeking an experienced doctor to join our team. This is a casual/part time/full time position, providing remote medical consultations to patients across the state. As a Telehealth Doctor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, accessible healthcare through the use of cutting-edge video and phone conferencing technology.
What you'll be doing
Conduct remote medical consultations with patients via video and phone calls, providing professional, compassionate care
Assess patient symptoms, confirm diagnoses, and prescribe appropriate treatments or medications
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in line with medical and legal requirements
Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated, holistic care for patients
Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, treatments, and best practices in telehealth
Provide timely and responsive follow-up care to patients as needed
What we're looking for
Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Minimum 3 years' experience working as a Doctor
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients remotely
Proficient in the use of video conferencing and other healthcare technology
Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care
Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings and weekends
Can be based anywhere in Australia or NZ
