Permanent part time position available; 2pm to 10pm - Mondays; $47.0206 - $63.2051 per hour base (depending on skills/experience); 12% Superannuation; The position is based in sunny Birkdale.

Responsibilities
* Ensuring that the older person's physical health is maintained at the highest possible level
* Ensuring families are fully informed about their relative's care
* Managing and directing care staff in day to day elder activities
* Adhering to Health and Safety legislation, policy and procedures
* Maintaining appropriate documentation
* Medication management and administration
* Providing leadership in accordance to the Eden philosophy of care
About You
You will have strong communication skills with a flexible, caring, patient attitude and collaborative approach in your practice as a Registered Nurse.
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse Division 1
* Current practicing certificate with the AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency)
* Post graduate evidence of formal education
* Demonstrated ongoing education and personal development
Skills
* An ability to work with persons living with dementia
* Experience in pain management and palliative care
* Ability to mentor staff, and act as a resource in regards to clinical issues
* Ability to maintain clinical requirements by checking charts and care plans
* The ability to work in a culturally sensitive manner within an ethno-specific environment
* The ability to work with frail and/or confused elders and their families within the Accreditation Standards and funding guidelines
* The ability to accept and give direction and to work with minimal supervision
Requirements
* A police check with no disclosable outcome
* Medicare evidence of current influenza and full COVID-19 vaccination, including dose 3
* Working With Children Check (Blue Card)
* A commitment to work exclusively with MiCare Residential Aged Care facility as your only employer during COVID-19 will be highly regarded
