Duties:
We are seeking a skilled professional to work within a specialised and complex area to assist the Commissioning and Sector Engagement team in determining the qualification of services under the Children and Families' capability framework.
The incumbent will contribute to coordination, communication and engagement activities which support operational commissioning activities and undertake compliance and monitoring to enhance stakeholder confidence in services delivered by Community Service Organisations.
The incumbent will work productively across the Department and relevant sectors to balance compliance and business needs, and stakeholder interests related to commissioning and community service organisations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Commissioning and Sector Engagement team in determining the qualification of services under the Children and Families' capability framework.
* Contribute to coordination, communication and engagement activities which support operational commissioning activities.
* Undertake compliance and monitoring to enhance stakeholder confidence in services delivered by Community Service Organisations.
* Work productively across the Department and relevant sectors to balance compliance and business needs, and stakeholder interests related to commissioning and community service organisations.
Requirements:
* Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment)
* Conviction checks in the following areas: crimes of violence, sex related offences, serious drug offences, crimes involving dishonesty, serious traffic offences
* Identification check
* Disciplinary actions in previous employment check
Desirable Requirements:
* Satisfactory completion of an appropriate course of study from a recognised tertiary institution.
