Early Careers Advisor / Senior Advisor – APAC
The Team
Clyde & Co's APAC HR team is a high‐performing, collaborative group made up of HR generalists, payroll, recruitment, learning & development and D&I specialists. Based in Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore, they work as one to deliver a holistic service to the firm's fee‐earning and business‐services groups.
The Role
This role supports the Early Careers (EC) recruitment and development programs across APAC. Key responsibilities include building the EC strategy, managing program delivery, transforming and developing EC initiatives, and providing support for law graduate and summer clerk programs. You will build relationships with universities, career services and other stakeholders, identify areas for improvement, and innovate to deliver best‐in‐class training and development for EC populations. You will also manage the selection process, ensuring it is fit for purpose, inclusive and commercially focused, and conduct assessment centers, attend law fairs and run recruitment events across the Asia Pacific region.
Additional duties include future graduate onboarding, EC induction, seat rotation planning, career development and qualification, skills‐gap identification, talent pipelining and workforce planning. You will ensure a first‐rate experience for EC populations and maintain strong retention rates at qualification. The role will support programs in Australia (Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney) and collaborate with global and regional HR colleagues where appropriate. It reports to the Recruitment Manager APAC and works closely with HR Business Partners, L&D and other key stakeholders.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Previous early careers or bulk recruitment experience at the Senior Coordinator or Advisor level.
* Experience managing assessment centres.
* Confident and personable brand ambassador for the firm.
* Innovative and creative, with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness.
* Self‐motivated, resilient and proactive, able to prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast‐moving environment.
* Strong team player with an adaptable and flexible approach.
* Excellent organisational, analytical and administrative skills.
* High attention to detail.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience building and maintaining strong relationships with all HR colleagues and internal and external stakeholders.
