Job Title: Water Quality Specialist
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on drinking water regulatory compliance against relevant guidelines and/or licenses.
You will work closely with government agencies, the community, and industry across the Northern Territory to develop solutions for the short and long-term management of water quality issues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate routine drinking water monitoring, including liaison with internal stakeholders, laboratories, and other relevant parties.
* Assess and investigate the performance of drinking water treatment processes and operations in achieving regulatory compliance.
* Identify and implement solutions for the short and long-term management of water quality issues.
* Provide water quality advice and assistance to colleagues as needed.
* Participate in an on-call roster to provide after-hours support as required.
* Perform duties in accordance with relevant safety policies and environmental principles.
This is a temporary role that may be extended. To be successful, you will require a scientific degree or engineering degree recognized by Engineers Australia, experience in water quality monitoring, and strong analytical skills.
