The Capital Program Manager is accountable to the Manager, Capital Projects Unit for effective coordination, programming and timely delivery of a range of capital works and minor works programmes, the efficient procurement and contracting of services, effective oversight of work health safety management, quality assurance, monitoring, budget tracking and regular reporting in project delivery, and the management and performance of a team of assigned Project Managers.

The Capital Program Manager will provide proactive leadership and best practice program management for all stages of project delivery for the assigned program of works, including initiation, design, delivery, project completion and review phases. The Capital Program Manager will also employ effective risk and financial management techniques ensuring projects meet operational objectives and provide expert advisory to SAPOL regarding the development and delivery of projects to ensure the Branch delivers value for money in supporting the asset portfolio.

PASB is comprised of seven units: Capital Projects Unit, Major Projects Unit, Strategic Infrastructure and Assets Unit, Contracts, Impound & Armoury Unit, Strategic Operations: Fleet & Property, Facilities Management Unit, and Business Unit. To achieve this, members adopt a problem solving, informative approach.

Special Conditions

* The incumbent must hold a current Australian work eligibility status and will be subject to a criminal history check.
* The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
* Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.
* The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL's iEngage program.

Salary
ASO7 - $108,109 - $116,864 per annum.
