Complete Power Partners is a specialist provider of off-grid, hybrid renewable and battery power solutions to the mining, industrial and remote infrastructure sectors across Australia. We design and manufacture rugged, transportable solar-diesel hybrid systems, battery enclosures and custom switchboards from our Victorian workshop.
As our Electrician - Remote Support Technician, your main focus is on remote support, taking phone calls from other Electricians who are installing our products Australia wide. Additionally you will have the opportunity to spend 10-15 hours a week on the tools building electrical switchboards for the renewable industry aswell as testing and programming these units.
This is a unique opportunity to apply your practical problem solving knowledge remotely to installers on the ground as well a mix of workshop work to provide variety. You will be supported by a strong technical team at CPP,
About the role:
* Manage incoming technical support calls for commissioning and troubleshooting of installations of new systems from other electricians Australia wide
* Technical support and remote monitoring for Kennards Hire, Rio Tinto and other existing sites across Australia
* Programming and testing CPP built systems in the workshop
* Assist with wiring diagrams and schematics
* Electrical building of cabinet and switchboard systems in the workshop
* On site maintenance work (infrequent)
Requirements:
* Work hours 11am -7pm Monday to Friday (a lot of installers commission systems from 3-6pm so this helps cover that set up time)
* Great communication skills
* Willingness to learn new skills- any of the above such as 3d modelling etc time will be allocated for learning on the job
* Strong computer skills
* Accountability and an eye for detail
