Restoration Technician

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Restoration Technician to join our established local team. This role is suitable for experienced restoration technicians or individuals with construction/trade related experience who are looking to move into the insurance restoration industry.
The Role
You will deliver restoration works across residential and commercial insurance claims in line with IICRC standards and industry best practice including:
* Water damage mitigation and structural drying
* Mould remediation and microbial cleaning
* Fire and soot cleaning
* Moisture mapping, monitoring and reporting
* Fire, water and mould invasive related works where required to facilitate drying or remediation
* Removal of affected materials including skirting boards, insulation and floor coverings as required
* Installation, monitoring and removal of drying equipment and air filtration devices
* Containment make-safe works and site hygiene
* Biohazard and trauma remediation
* Clear, respectful communication with clients, insurers and internal supervisors
About You
You take pride in doing quality work and understand the importance of professionalism, empathy and attention to detail.
This role may suit someone with experience in:
* Insurance restoration or specialist cleaning
* Building or construction environments with hands-on site experience
* Trade based or site labour roles with a strong understanding of building materials and safe work practices
You will also have:
* A strong work ethic and willingness to learn restoration-specific processes
* Ability to work independently and within a close-knit team
* Professional presentation and clear communication skills
* Current driver’s licence
Formal IICRC certifications are highly regarded but not essential, with training provided to the right candidate.
