About the Role
We seek a Fire Suppression Leading Hand to provide product support and technical services alongside our Fire Suppression products. This role involves guiding Fire Suppression Technicians, estimating, quoting, and planning fleets.
The Fire Suppression Business prioritizes quality objectives and exceptional customer service.
Main Responsibilities
1. Train and coach Fire Suppression Technicians, assisting with training and accreditation for fire suppression system installation
2. Estimate and quote jobs for customers, assist with paperwork for Service coordination
3. Adhere to policies and procedures, particularly EHS policies
4. Support technicians from other regions, assist with training
5. Perform fault diagnosis, maintenance, and installation of Fire Suppression systems
6. Work effectively in a team or autonomously
7. Develop strong communication and interpersonal skills
8. Identify opportunities for business growth, participate in sales activities
9. Assist with machine audits/inspections
10. Internal Sandvik product accredited certification will be provided
About You
You will have strong customer relation skills, effective teamwork experience, and flexibility to work with customer requirements. A positive attitude and determination to achieve targets are essential. Direct knowledge of fire suppression systems and installation experience are beneficial.
A valid driver's license and basic computer literacy, including email, Microsoft Excel, and Word, are required. Leadership experience in a trade-based role (fitter and tuner or boiler maker) who is willing to learn fire suppression systems is also encouraged.
