About the role
Reporting to the Director of Strategy and Growth, the GM Client Solutions will drive our strategic growth and new business engagement. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on turning strategy into action, leading high-value bids, crafting client-centric solutions, and leading business development outcomes that align with long-term business goals.

Location: ACS HQ is currently based in Mulgrave, with plans to move to a new office in South Melbourne in late 2025. Primarily an onsite role, with travel required for client meetings, tender presentations, trade shows, and other external engagements.
What you'll be doing
* Lead the preparation of accurate and competitive cost estimates for cleaning, hygiene, and property services tenders across multiple sectors.
* Analyse tender documents, plans, and specifications to determine scope of works and resource requirements.
* Develop labour models and staffing rosters in line with relevant modern awards and legislation.
* Liaise with partners and suppliers to source competitive quotations and validate cost inputs.
* Identify risks, exclusions, and opportunities in each bid and communicate these effectively.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design innovative and efficient service delivery models.
* Contribute to bid writing by providing clear and compelling methodology, assumptions, and pricing rationale.
* Participate in client briefings, site inspections, and post-tender negotiations where required.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market rates, industry benchmarks, and innovative technologies.
* Support continuous improvement.
What you'll bring
* Degree qualified in accounting, finance, business management or similar.
* Minimum five years commercial pricing experience in a B2B environment such as cleaning, property services, construction, security, nursing or similar.
* An understanding of labour driven price modelling and award interpretation.
* Strong financial acumen and advanced excel skills.
* Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
* A track record of leading successful bids.
* High-level strategic and commercial reasoning.
