Your New Role And Responsibilities

Role: As a Billing Analyst, you will support the accurate and timely billing of large, multi‐year Federal Government contracts. Working closely with Program Financial Analysts and Project Managers, you'll play a key role in monthly invoicing, cash flow forecasting, and customer billing support in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment. This role is well suited to an early‐career finance professional looking to build experience in project-based billing within a Defence and government environment.
* Prepare and process monthly customer invoices in line with contract requirements, including responding to customer billing enquiries and participating in client discussions as required.
* Support cash flow forecasting, billing reconciliations, and associated reporting activities.
* Work closely with Program Finance and Project teams to ensure billing accuracy across contracts and projects.
* Assist with month-end billing deadlines and the timely completion of billing deliverables.
* Support process improvement initiatives across billing and finance workflows.
What You'll Bring To Make An Impact
* Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Commerce (completed or near completion), with desirable experience supporting invoicing or billing activities and familiarity with project-based or government contract environments.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet recurring monthly deadlines.
* Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Comfortable working across multiple systems and datasets.
* Proactive, team-oriented, and keen to develop finance capability in a project environment.
