About the Carpenter Role
As a skilled tradesperson, you will be responsible for second fix work, hanging doors and detailed finishing across residential and commercial projects. We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team.
* You will read and interpret building plans and sketches to ensure accurate execution.
* Measure, cut and shape materials using hand and power tools.
* Install foundations, walls, floors, ceilings and roofs with precision.
* Fitting and installing window frames, doors, hardware and interior/exterior trim requires attention to detail.
* You will build and repair cabinets, doors, frameworks and other wooden fixtures with quality craftsmanship in mind.
* Ensure safety standards are met and maintain a clean work environment.
* Collaborate with a supportive team to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Requirements
* A Certificate III in Carpentry (CPC30220) or equivalent is required.
* At least 2 years of experience as a Carpenter or Skilled Labourer is essential.
* Hold a White Card and valid driver's license.
* Strong work ethic, reliability and attention to detail are vital.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team is necessary.
* Safety-conscious and committed to quality craftsmanship are key characteristics.
