YOUR MISSION
As a Zeducate tutor, you'll:
* Teach 25-50 sessions per week (45min each, 4pm-11pm NSW time slots, minimum 20hrs/week required)
* Deliver measurable student progress - your students improve or you don't last
* Build genuine relationships - parents renew every 5 weeks because you're changing their kid's life
* Own the outcome - we match you with students, you make them successful
* Respond fast - parents and students get replies same day, every time
* Run your roster like a business - retain clients, maximize your income, grow strategically

You've taught or tutored before - ideally struggling students, not just high achievers. You know how to build confidence, break concepts down, and make learning feel achievable.
You can close a parent in 10 minutes - after a trial session, you explain progress clearly, handle objections calmly, and parents say yes because they trust you.
Near-perfect retention is non-negotiable - your clients renew at 80%+ because their kid is improving and you communicate proactively with parents.
You don't need hand-holding - we tell you what success looks like, you figure out how to deliver it. You fix problems before we know they exist.
Relentless consistency - every session is excellent, every message is professional, every interaction builds trust.
Ownership mentality - you treat your roster like your business within ours. You optimize, you innovate, you take pride in your numbers.

EXPERIENCE LEVEL
Minimum Requirements:
* Strong in both English and Mathematics to a Year 12 level.
* Available for minimum 20 hours/week within 4pm-11pm NSW time
* Excellent communication - you build rapport with kids AND parents
* Reliable home office setup with solid internet
Bonus Points:
* Education degree or teaching qualification
* Experience with students who are behind or struggling
* Track record of measurable student improvement
* Previous experience in results-driven environments
Not Required:
* Elite ATAR tutoring background (we're helping kids catch up, not chasing 99+ scores)
* PhD or specialist qualifications (competence + connection > credentials)
THE REWARDS
How You Get Paid (Per 5-Session Bundle)
You're paid immediately when a client commits (new client) or renews (existing client). Your commission increases automatically as you retain each specific client:
New client (first close): $120 per bundle → ~$32/hour effective rate 1st renewal: $150 per bundle → ~$40/hour effective rate
2nd renewal: $160 per bundle → ~$43/hour effective rate 3rd renewal: $170 per bundle → ~$45/hour effective rate 4th+ renewal: $180 per bundle → ~$48/hour effective rate
Volume Bonus Tiers (Weekly Session Targets): Hit 45+ sessions/week consistently: Additional $10/bundle on all renewals ($190 max) Hit 50+ sessions/week consistently: Additional $20/bundle on all renewals ($200 max)
Commission escalates per-client based on consecutive renewals. Retention = higher income. Volume bonuses stack on top.

New Tutor - First 5 Weeks:
* Week 1: $1, clients closed)
* Week 2-4: $1,200/week (keep closing new clients)
* Week 5: $2,100 (5 new + 10 renewals start)
* First 5 weeks total: $7,500
Steady State (40 Clients, ~30 Teaching Hours/Week):
* ~8 renewals completing per week (40 clients ÷ 5 weeks)
* Blended commission ~$165/bundle (mix of renewal stages)
* Weekly: $1,320
* Monthly: ~$5,280
* Teaching hours: 30/week
* Effective rate: ~$44/hour
High Performer (50 Clients, ~37.5 Teaching Hours/Week):
* ~10 renewals completing per week (50 clients ÷ 5 weeks)
* Blended commission ~$180/bundle + volume bonuses
* Weekly: $1,900
* Monthly: ~$7,600
* Teaching hours: 37.5/week
* Effective rate: ~$51/hour
Top Performer (54 Clients at Maximum Capacity, 40 Teaching Hours/Week):
* ~11 renewals completing per week (54 clients ÷ 5 weeks, staggered)
* Most clients at 4th+ renewal ($180 base) + $20 volume bonus ($200/bundle)
* Weekly: $2,200
* Monthly: ~$8,800
* Teaching hours: 40/week
* Effective rate: ~$55/hour
* Annual: ~$115,000
Career Growth:
* Senior Tutor at 3-6 months (mentor new hires, bonus structure)

THE DAILY REALITY
You'll spend your day:
* Teaching 5-10 sessions per day (45min each) between 4pm-11pm NSW time
* Sending quick progress updates to parents after sessions
* Responding to parent messages within hours (not days)
* Planning next week's lessons based on student needs
* Monitoring your renewal dates and proactively communicating with parents
* Ending each week knowing exactly how many clients renewed, how much you earned, and where you're trending
You won't spend time:
* Marketing yourself or creating content
* Chasing invoices or managing payment schedules
* Building websites or running social media
* Driving to sessions or renting office space
* Dealing with no-shows (parents pay upfront, they show up)
THE SETUP
Location: Fully remote - anywhere in Australia with reliable internet
Contractor: ABN required (or willing to get one). Paid immediately upon client close/renewal. No payment delays, no NET30 nonsense.
Hours: Part-time (minimum 20 hours/week) to full-time (40+ hours/week). You control your availability within 4pm-11pm NSW slots.
Reports to: Head of Tutoring - weekly check-ins, real coaching, growth-focused feedback. We invest in making you better.
Tech Requirements: Laptop/desktop, webcam, headset, quiet workspace, reliable NBN/fibre connection.
