Overview
Patterson River Secondary College is a friendly, high-performing school. Our College facilities include a three-court basketball stadium, Performing Arts Centre, Senior School Centre, dedicated Year 7, Year 8 and Year 9 learning centres, a new STEM centre, food technology rooms and a community room.
Staff are provided with free out-of-hours access to the College's weights and circuit gym. The school offers diverse programs to support student learning, including elective and VCE subject offerings, Year 9 Learning 4 Life, an Instrumental Music Program, EXCEL Academic and EXCEL Sport Programs, a VET program, and partnerships such as the Frankston START Trade Training Centre, Frankston Tech School, Doctors in Secondary Schools Program, and Hub School activities. The College's leadership structure includes areas of responsibility led by an Assistant Principal: Excellence in Teaching and Learning (Curriculum Operations), Positive Climate for Student Learning (Student Operations), and Community Engagement and Support Services (School Operations).

Role: Patterson River Secondary College is seeking a highly motivated and organised person to fill the role of Assistant to our sports program (time fraction negotiable 0.6 - 1.0 FTE).
Sports facilities include a three-court basketball stadium, weights room (accessible to staff outside work hours), football oval and soccer oval. In addition to in-school and interschool programs, the College offers a select-entry EXCEL Sport Program for Years 7–10. In 2026, the College won eight state championships across multiple sports.
