Pay: Up to $36.53 per hour + Superannuation + Benefits

About Goodstart Point Vernon
Located in the beachside community of Hervey Bay, our centre in Point Vernon sits on Butchulla land, and we acknowledge the Elders past, present, and emerging. We are a 65-place centre with five rooms, catering to children from six weeks to Kindergarten age. We offer a flexible rotating roster on a six-week rotation with shifts throughout the week. Rosters are shared at least two weeks in advance, allowing Educators to plan appointments and other responsibilities around work hours. We can also accommodate permanent parent/family engagements. Our centre is open from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm.
As a leadership team, we highly value Educator recognition and host staff events such as Christmas parties, graduations, and celebrations. The centre has a cozy, home-like atmosphere with three playgrounds and is located near shops, schools, and a medical centre next door. With approximately 200 years of combined experience among our Educators, about 80% of our team holds or is working towards a Diploma qualification or higher. We pride ourselves on a positive experience for both children and families.

You’ll Need
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Current Queensland Working with Children Check
