This exciting opportunity is ideal for a proactive and solutions-focused Stakeholder Engagement Manager to play a pivotal role in driving high standards of stakeholder engagement and "customer service" within the renewable energy sector.
In this newly developed role, you will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, leading the organisations' approach to events, consultation, and sponsorships. As the day-to-day lead, you will oversee processes and deliver strategic initiatives to build stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and Government objectives.
With one direct report, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing stakeholder engagement strategies, managing sponsorships, and delivering high-quality events that reflect the organisations' goals. Your ability to collaborate, influence, and problem-solve will be essential to success in this role.
**Key duties include**:
- Leading stakeholder engagement, consultation, and sponsorship strategies.
- Overseeing the implementation of processes for contact and complaints management, ensuring high-quality responses and customer service.
- Managing the delivery of high-standard events and sponsorships aligned with organisational priorities.
- Providing expert advice and guidance on engagement and consultation strategies across the Agency.
- Collaborating with Corporate Affairs and Communications teams to deliver integrated plans and strategies.
- Supervising and mentoring the Stakeholder and Event Support Officer to achieve key outcomes.
**Skills and experience required**:
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement, consultation, or related fields within government, NGO, corporate, or consultancy settings.
- Proven capability in developing and delivering integrated engagement and communication strategies.
- Strong organisational and event management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and influencing skills.
- Experience with customer and stakeholder management platforms such as Salesforce, Zendesk, or similar systems.
- IAP2 accreditation (desired), alongside experience in stakeholder mapping and consultation processes.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
