Be Productions is a professional Audio/Visual Service and Production Company with over 15 years of experience in the events industry. We specialize in Audio/Visual projects and events and Outdoor Cinemas.

**Role Description - Audio Technician**

This is a full-time position for a Senior Experienced Audio Technician servicing both the Greater Sydney Area and open to work Australia wide on site-specific projects. With a track record of excellence in audio engineering and event production, in this role, you will lead audio operations, ensure high-quality sound delivery, and provide mentorship to junior technicians. You will have significant opportunities to implement innovative solutions, shape best practices, and contribute to the success of a wide range of events.

The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing faults and maintaining Audio systems, but also Airscreen setup, etc. You will also be responsible with installation and integration of Audio systems to match our client's needs.

**Responsibilities**
- Supervise the preparation and setup of all audio equipment, including cables, amplifiers, speakers, and software, to ensure seamless event execution.
- Provide guidance on proper handling, configuration, and troubleshooting to maintain high-quality performance standards.
- Oversee the bump-in and bump-out processes for audio equipment, ensuring correct handling and adherence to safety protocols.
- Provide basic training to the event staff on the correct usage of equipment to avoid damage and maintain operational efficiency.
- Advise and oversee technical audio requirements, including optimal equipment setup tailored to event-specific factors such as venue location, site dimensions, audience size, and power sources.
- Collaborate to ensure proper voltage and power configurations are in place for successful event outcomes.
- Demonstrated competency in operating audio-visual equipment
- Work closely with clients, creative teams, and producers to interpret briefs and deliver high-quality audio solutions.
- Compose original music tailored to a wide variety of brand styles, campaign objectives, and emotional tones.
- Record, mix, and master audio content.
- Engineer high-quality voiceovers, ensuring crystal-clear recording and professional direction during sessions.
- Design and create bespoke sound effects and atmospheric audio elements to enhance storytelling.
- Collaborate and support to musicians and DJ artists during rehearsal and event.
- Manage the end-to-end audio production process, from concept and execution to final delivery.
- Maintain an organised workflow while juggling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.
- Stay on top of emerging trends in audio production, sound design and equipment.

**Skills and Experience**
- Certificate IV in Music Industry
- Minimum 1 year full-time of experience in the Audio Visual (AV) industry or equivalent to in the last 3 years
- Comprehensive understanding of the Audio-Visual industry, including equipment, standards, and practices
- Systematic and detail-oriented approach to planning, monitoring, and reporting work progress
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of addressing and resolving technical challenges effectively
- Demonstrated success working collaboratively in a team environment
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, to effectively liaise with team members, stakeholders, and clients
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, ensuring tasks and projects are completed efficiently and on schedule
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all aspects of work
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with key business stakeholders, fostering trust and collaboration
- Experience with the installation of Airscreen and relevant setup and cinema system is essential
