We are currently seeking an organised & proactive Wheel Repair Supervisor to join our team in our Mackay branch.
The Opportunity

38 hour week
Extremely well‐equipped workshop (Vertical Lathes, Lincoln Sub Arc, Automated Shot‐Blaster, Hypertherm Plasmas, Gantry/Jib cranes)

The Role
Reporting to the Workshop Manager
Supervise a small and efficient team of wheel repairers (5 Staff – Machinist/Boilermaker/Painter trades)
Ensure proactive and prompt response to rectifying damage or 'wear and tear' to the wheels of our customers
Implement procedures to create outstanding customer value
Monitor HSEQ accountabilities
Facilitate work‐flow through facility to meet customer expectations
Comply with BMSA policies
About You – Essential
Qualified boilermaker (sub arc welding experience preferred)
Strong commitment to safety of yourself and others
Hands‐on team leader, supervisor experience or potential
Excellent communication skills both internal and external
Moderate computer/technology literacy (digital workflow)
Reliable team player
Must have current work rights in Australia
About You – Preferred
Exposure to mining, agriculture or heavy manufacturing (experience in OTR wheel repair)
Experience or exposure to wheel repair
