Job Description
This role involves a blend of e-commerce strategy, CRM ownership, UX optimization, and website performance with SEO baked in. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving online sales, increasing customer retention, improving the on-site journey, and scaling our organic reach.
The successful applicant will operate across platforms like Shopify, Klaviyo, Google Analytics, and Search Console, working cross-functionally with design, dev, CX, and growth marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day operations of the e-commerce site (Shopify Plus or similar)
* Update homepage, product detail pages, collections, cart, and checkout to optimize UX and boost average order value
* Plan and execute product launches, seasonal campaigns, and merchandising updates
* Collaborate with developers and designers to build custom landing pages and functionality
* Track site analytics and performance metrics (conversion rate, bounce rate, load speed)
CRM & Retention
* Own and grow the CRM program across email and SMS (Klaviyo)
* Build and optimize flows (welcome, abandon cart, post-purchase, winback, VIP, etc.)
* Develop audience segmentation and personalized campaigns to improve lifetime value
* Analyze performance (open rates, click rates, revenue per recipient) and test continuously
* Sync data between Shopify, email, SMS, and CX platforms to enable cohesive automation
UX, CX & CRO
* Improve customer journey across mobile and desktop — reduce friction, increase delight
* Use tools like Hotjar, GA4, and customer feedback to identify pain points and drop-off zones
* Lead A/B tests for layouts, CTAs, copy, and navigation
* Translate insights from CX/support tickets into site fixes or messaging improvements
* Ensure the site reflects our brand tone, visual identity, and accessibility standards
SEO & Organic Growth
* Implement on-site SEO best practices including site structure, meta data, and internal linking
* Optimize product descriptions, collections, and blog content for discoverability
* Collaborate with content team on keyword-driven content and landing pages
* Monitor rankings, traffic, and indexing using Search Console, Ahrefs/SEMrush, etc.
* Support performance goals through technical SEO audits and ongoing improvements
Requirements
* 3–5 years experience in e-commerce, CRM, or digital marketing roles
* Hands-on experience with Shopify, Klaviyo (or equivalents), GA4, and Search Console
* Strong understanding of conversion rate optimization and UX principles for direct-to-consumer brands
* Solid grasp of technical and on-page SEO
* Experience with A/B testing tools, heatmaps, and customer feedback loops
* Data-driven mindset with a creative eye for brand and customer experience
* Bonus: Background in beauty, wellness, lifestyle, or fast-growing DTC brands
