Join WWT today!World Wide Technology’s Enterprise Solutions & Architecture (ES&A) practice is seeking a Principal AI Architect who also codes at a senior‑engineer level. You will lead customer engagements that bring NVIDIA‑powered AI products to life, architecting the solution, writing production‑grade code, and shepherding multi‑disciplinary teams from discovery through deployment. Expect to spend 30-40 % of your time in the codebase (Python/C++/TypeScript), the remainder guiding technical direction and mentoring others.Role SummaryDual hat: act as Principal AI Architect as well as hands‑on Senior Software Engineer for AI‑driven experiences, with a spotlight on the NVIDIA Omniverse & ACE (Avatar Cloud Engine) stack, such as Tokkio, Riva, Audio2Face, Audio2Gesture, NeMo, Triton, NIM, and related SDKs.Own the technical relationship with customers, PMO and sales, operating in WWT’s “Two‑in‑the‑Box” delivery model.Drive end‑to‑end solution design including cloud/hardware footprint, MLOps pipeline, avatar content pipeline, latency budgets, and security controls, then build the reference implementation yourself and uplift the team to production quality.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic & Client LeadershipTranslate business outcomes into AI‑backed architectures and roadmaps; present to C‑Suite and engineering guilds alike.Lead discovery workshops, draft statements of work, and serve as escalation point for technical risks and issues.Grow account footprint by spotting adjacent AI opportunities and partnering with sales.Prototype and ship micro‑services, data pipelines, and inference endpoints (Python, FastAPI, C++/gRPC, TypeScript/Next.js) that power Digital Human solutions.Configure and fine‑tune LLMs, diffusion models, or RAG pipelines using NVIDIA NeMo, TensorRT-LLM, and Triton Inference Server.Implement real‑time avatar animation using Omniverse Audio2Face/Audio2Gesture, and voice/vision pipelines with Riva ASR/TTS + Tokkio action graph.Contribute to infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform/Helm/Ansible) and CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Argo) for GPU clusters on‑prem and in AWS/GCP/Azure.Perform code reviews, establish engineering standards, and coach client engineers and junior WWT staff.Solution Delivery & GovernanceEnsure deliverables meet WWT quality gates and regulatory/secure‑SDLC requirements.Manage partner/OEM relationships (NVIDIA, OEM GPU vendors, ISVs) and align roadmaps.Track project financials, staffing, and utilization; potential travel 10% as needed.Educational/Experience RequirementsMinimum:10+ years in enterprise software engineering with 5+ years architecting and coding AI/ML solutions.Proven expertise with NVIDIA AI & Omniverse ecosystem: CUDA/Triton, TensorRT, NeMo, Riva, Tokkio, ACE, Audio2Face, Audio2Gesture, and Omniverse Kit/Isaac Sim.History of shipping real‑time or interactive AI applications (voice, vision, avatars, games, or XR).Deep fluency in Python and one of C/C++/Rust/Go; solid grasp of containerization (Docker/K8s) and GPU orchestration.Experience leading multi‑disciplinary teams and mentoring engineers.Excellent client‑facing communication and technical writing skills.Preferred:Thorough understanding of at least one central WWT technology core focus area, including AI driven Infrastructure Modernization, Security Transformation, or Multi cloud architecture.Prior work with Digital Humans, conversational AI, or immersive 3D experiences.Certifications: NVIDIA Certified Professional, AWS/GCP/Azure Solutions Architect, or similar.Sector familiarity in Finance is strongly preferred; experience in other verticals (Public Sector, Healthcare, Media & Entertainment, Retail, etc.) is a plus.The well-being of WWT employees is essential.
