Our Cardiac Diagnostic Services offers specialised care and clinical support. In this role, you will be part of a frontline team, ensuring the smooth operation of the Cardiac Vascular Ultrasound Laboratory (CVUL) and contributing to patient-centred care.
Responsibilities
* Handle all enquiries from patients and visitors courteously and professionally, serving as the first point of contact.
* Manage appointment books for the CVUL, ensuring accurate scheduling and recording.
* Coordinate tests, appointments, and patient transfers in collaboration with other hospital departments.
* Provide administrative support to CVUL staff, helping maintain efficient unit operations.
What You Will Bring
* Highly developed skills in an inpatient/outpatient setting, prioritization, and time management.
* Strong organisational skills to manage and prioritise office workflow with experience in office functions and procedures.
* High level of effective communication and customer service skills, including excellent telephone manner and ability to liaise with health professionals.
* Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT).
* Experience in an electronic booking system and understanding of billing processes (iPM).
