We are seeking a motivated Graduate Structural Engineer to join our team to design and oversee development of systems for industrial plant expansions and installations using appropriate technologies, reporting to the Senior Structural Engineer and Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
* Civil/Structural Engineering design and checking
* Develop ownership of Civil/Structural design projects
* Maintain a safety focus through all aspects of work
* Collaborate with highly skilled designers to develop designs for a wide range of plant elements
* Prepare calculations and technical engineering reports as part of overall project engineering deliverables
* Occasional visits to client sites as required.
* Represent EMtek throughout complete project lifecycle, ensuring client satisfaction
* Ensure EMtek provides a quality service and clients are satisfied with EMtek's performance
* Promote and continually improve EMtek's commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment
About you
The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player with a passion for discovery and a commitment to workplace wellbeing and safety. As part of a small, tight-knit team, strong relationship building, and communication skills will be critical in this role.
Education & Experience
* Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
* Background or demonstrated interest in mining, minerals processing, or bulk materials handling.
* Proficient with structural analysis software such as SpaceGass, Strand7, and ANSYS.
* Solid understanding of relevant Australian Standards (AS1170, AS3600, AS4100).
* Working knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) principles and associated software tools.
Skills & Abilities
* Strong capability in structural engineering design and analysis.
* High technical aptitude with proven problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
* Sound understanding of engineering quality assurance processes.
* Confident communicator with strong organisational and negotiation skills.
* Excellent time-management skills with the ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
