Qualified Baker – Bakers Delight Waratah
* Ability to be available to work a flexible roster, which will include shifts from 4 AM to 12:00PM.
* This is a full-time position, offering approximately 38 hours per week.

Bakers Delight Waratah is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and energetic Qualified Baker to join the Bakery.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation and production of quality bakery products to Bakers Delight. Training will be provided for BDH recipe.
* Inspect equipment and premises before production to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
* Evaluate raw materials and weigh ingredients to maintain quality standards.
* Mix, knead, mature, cut, mould, and shape dough and pastry goods.
* Prepare pastry fillings for various baked products.
* Operate machines for rolling, moulding dough, and cutting biscuits.
* Monitor oven temperatures and product appearance to determine optimal baking times.
* Coordinate the forming, baking, cooling, and de-panning of bread, rolls, and pastry batches.
* Glaze buns and pastries and decorate cakes with icing or cream.
* Clean, grease, and empty baking trays, tins, and equipment after use.
To be considered for this role you need to be able to meet the following selection criteria.
* Ability to be available for work across the 7 days of the week, which may include evening work and some public holidays (starting times can be as early as 2am)
* Work in a fast-paced team environment and communicate with customers and staff.

* Complete duties as directed by your manager/supervisor
* Abide by company policies and procedures at all times
* Train, develop and supervise apprentices and staff in the Bakery Department
* Have an eye for detail
* Applicants with Minimum of 1 years' experience or Certificate III in Baking, as a Baker will have advantage for this role.
Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
