About this Position
We’re on the hunt for a strategic, hands-on leader to shape and drive our newly created Head of Enterprise Applications- Sales Platforms role. Reporting to the CIO, this position will lead the implementation and continuous evolution of PFD’s sales application ecosystem with a major focus on Salesforce.
You'll be responsible for Salesforce strategy, delivery, and adoption across the business, including CRM, Ecommerce, Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and our Supply Web Portal. The role requires deep technical and commercial understanding, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to build and lead a high-performing team from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead the end-to-end Salesforce implementation and oversee broader sales platform strategy.
* Represent IT in enterprise-level projects and cross-functional decision-making forums.
* Partner with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, and Operations to align tech solutions with commercial needs.
* Coach and empower a newly forming team; Business Analyst and Project Manager.
* Drive clarity in an evolving environment by defining strategic roadmaps and solution design.
* Manage vendors and ensure high-quality service and alignment with business outcomes.
* Champion change, ensuring buy-in across departments and successful platform adoption.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you will bring:
* Extensive hands-on Salesforce experience, ideally across multiple modules such as Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, CRM, and Ecommerce.
* Proven success in leading enterprise SaaS platform delivery, particularly in cross-functional environments.
* Experience leading and scaling technical teams, while influencing senior stakeholders and driving adoption.
* A collaborative and coaching-based leadership style that brings people together across tech and business.
* Comfortable with ambiguity and transformation, there’s no playbook, and that excites you.
* Background in FMCG, foodservice, distribution or logistics.
* Experience integrating other sales platforms or AppExchange tools.
* Strong understanding of commercial sales cycles and digital enablement.
What Success Looks Like
Within 9 months:
* Phase 1 of Salesforce implemented and delivering value.
* Trusted relationships built across Sales, IT, and Executive leadership.
By 18 months:
* Fully functioning, integrated Sales Platforms team embedded in IT.
* Salesforce ecosystem successfully deployed and adopted across the business.
* Function recognised as a strategic enabler of commercial performance.
