As a member of the health care team, the CSD Technician:

* Decontaminates, packages, sterilises and distributes reusable medical devices (RMDs) for the Operating Theatre and other specialist and general areas.
* Maintains a clean and hygienic environment to facilitate the control of infection in the Central Sterilising Department (CSD).
* Provide an efficient sterilisation and decontamination services

Note: - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all of the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.

The Team:

* Be part of a dynamic, fast paced, and supportive team
* Support can be provided for the study for completion of Certificate III in Sterilising Services for the successful applicant

Details of appointment:

Fixed term, casual, position workingas and when required, commencing from a mutually agreed date until 30 September 2026.

*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

*Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar vacancies across the Northwest.

Salary:$67,193 - $72,126 pro rata, per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

* Salary range is in accordance withPublic Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.

You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

* Certificate III in Sterilising Services from an approved educational institution
* Knowledge and/or previous experience in working within a health care setting
