Electrical Design Expert
We have a diverse opportunity for an experienced Electrical Designer to join our team in Townsville. As a key member of our Resources + Industry team, you will contribute to the planning, modelling and documentation of electrical systems, ensuring quality and compliance with relevant Australian standards.
You will work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams to deliver best-for-project outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:
* Performing advanced electrical design and drafting using industry-standard tools;
* Developing concept designs with minimal supervision;
* Producing high-quality drawings, models and documentation aligned with our workflows and quality standards;
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* An Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar qualification;
* At least 5 years' experience in electrical design and drafting for mining, industrial or heavy-industry projects;
* A strong understanding of Australian electrical standards and guidelines;
* Proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, ProjectWise and MS Office;
