IT Operations Support Lead. Our client is a fast-growing financial services business recognised for innovation, client satisfaction, and employee engagement. As part of their Sydney team, you\'ll help strengthen and modernise their IT infrastructure environment and manage their MSP partnership.
About the Role
This IT Operations Lead requires strong technical expertise, proven vendor management experience, and a solutions-driven mindset. The role is about 30% hands on, and 70% MSP management. You\'ll play a key role in shaping IT workflows, managing external providers, and supporting business stakeholders across infrastructure, networking, cloud, and workplace technologies.
What You\'ll Do
* Manage relationships with MSPs and vendors
* Drive MSP performance, compliance, and value
* Oversee IT infrastructure and hardware support
* Develop and improve IT workflows, policies, and service models
* Configure the recently implemented JSM
* Embed IT security best practices into infrastructure
What You\'ll Bring
* Solid IT infrastructure and support experience
* Broad skills across server, networks, support
* Expertise in managing MSPs/vendors
* Strong networking, cloud, workplace technologies, & IT security
* Tech skills with Meraki, Defender, ClouStrike, JSM would be ideal
* Excellent communication, stakeholder, and vendor management skills
* Self-motivated, organised, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
* Financial services or regulated industry experience
* Certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft, CISSP, or PMP
* Exposure to frameworks like ISO 27001, SOC 2, or APRA CPS 234
