Key Responsibilities
* Responsible for leading on-site project teams, including managing the day-to-day supervision and coordination, ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently and meeting NWMC and our clients quality standards.
* This role will have you overseeing a wide range of project scopes including labour allocation, material coordination and scheduling to support a smooth project delivery.
* Provide regular updates on projects, including milestones, challenges, and risks, to the operations manager or relevant stakeholders.
* Enforce strict adherence to workplace health and safety regulations.
* Foster positive working relationships with contractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
* Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact project progress or quality.
What type of Person will be successful
* Minimum 3+ years' experience within civil and detailed earthworks.
* Proven experience as a Foreman, Manager, Supervisor or Leading Hand with the ability to manage various work crews simultaneously.
* Experience in coordination of scheduling and allocation of labour, plant, equipment and materials for all projects.
* Proven track record of successfully overseeing multiple smaller projects at once.
* Proficient in using Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, and Excel for daily reporting and communication.
* Experience and familiarity with Rio Tinto project requirements and standards is desirable.
