About the Role
The Registered Nurse is to provide a range of domiciliary nursing services to the elderly and people with a disability. The position is required to undertake a clinical advisory role in relation to service delivery team members employed by the organisation. Must be available for some weekend work (roster is approx. 1 in every 6 weekends) as well as availability to travel between the Sunshine Coast & Gympie if necessary on occasions.
Duties
Below are some of the duties and responsibilities but are not exhaustive:
* Undertakes client assessments when necessary;
* Provides regular domiciliary nursing services in accordance with hours allocated in the Care Plan, and additional services as needed in response to the health needs of individuals;
* Provides Case Management services to those clients whose complexity of care needs require such services;
* Acts as a client advocate with other service providers when required.
