You will be responsible for managing and independently running the operations of a busy site. A focus to delivering defect-free results are essential. You will play an exciting part in supervising and coordinating the construction of your homes and ensure that trades meet quality, timelines and OH&S objective.
Responsibilities
* Reporting to the Building Support Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:
* Training to manage the overall site performance of our home construction process;
* Training to maximise the site production by ensuring sub contract trade availability;
* Keeping up to date with building practices and procedures;
* Ensuring compliance with and delivery of established cost management and project management practices;
* Partnering up with your assigned Site Manager buddy and learning about the role;
* Complete training assessments which will be undertaken during the relevant training with each department; and
* Fostering a positive and focused culture where customer service and teamwork is paramount.

The successful candidate will have
* Completion of relevant tertiary education e.g. Building/Construction Diploma or of trade/building background;
* Experience as a qualified Carpenter;
* Customer Service experience;
* An understanding of building regulations;
* Knowledge of project management systems;
* Previous experience working with and implementing quality assurance systems to Australian standards; and
* Some experience in developing and managing organisational and external networks, particularly with trades, would be highly regarded.
