Studio Manager – Music School 20–38 hours per week | Central Coast
Are you an organised, confident, and people-focused professional looking for a rewarding role in the performing arts industry? Our vibrant and growing music school is seeking a Studio Manager to oversee daily operations, support our teaching team, and ensure an excellent experience for students and families.
About the Role
This is a part-time to full-time position (20–38 hours per week), offering variety and responsibility across administration, scheduling, event planning, and team management. While not essential, the ability to also teach singing will be highly regarded.
Our current Studio Manager is moving into a different position within the business, but will remain on-site for a thorough handover period to ensure a smooth transition for the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the studio across two campuses
- Provide excellent customer service to families via phone, email, and face-to-face enquiries
- Lead and support a team of teachers and admin staff
- Oversee scheduling, enrolments, and timetabling
- Coordinate concerts, showcases, and community events
- Ensure smooth communication between staff, students, and families
- Contribute to a positive, professional, and welcoming studio environment
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Well-spoken with excellent literacy and written communication skills
- Confident managing a team and providing leadership
- Comfortable speaking with parents and handling enquiries both in person and over the phone
- Proactive and able to manage multiple projects, especially events and scheduling
- Enthusiastic about the performing arts and creating a supportive learning environment
- Experience in education, administration, or performing arts management
- Background in event coordination or scheduling systems
- Ability to teach singing (not essential, but an advantage)
