About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead growth across the firm. This role is focused on generating new business, building referral networks, and supporting client retention.
You will play a key role in expanding our client base while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and onboard a minimum of 4-5 new business clients per month
- Develop and manage referral networks (mortgage brokers, real estate agents, lawyers, property group, etc.)
- Identify and convert new business opportunities across tax, accounting, and advisory services
- Work closely with internal accountants to ensure smooth onboarding and client experience
- Maintain regular contact with clients to improve retention and satisfaction
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional services
- Represent EH Tax at networking events and business forums
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and provide regular performance updates
About You:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in business development (preferably within accounting, finance, or professional services)
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of accounting and tax services
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Highly motivated, self-driven, and target-oriented
Existing network in Melbourne/Geelong business community (highly regarded)
