Major Civil Works | Tier 2 Contractor | Path to Senior Project Engineer
Take your career to the next level with a major civil infrastructure contractor delivering landmark projects across the Newcastle and Hunter region. We're seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join the team on complex, large-scale civil works — with FIFO opportunities also available.
The Opportunity
This role offers exposure to challenging civil infrastructure — including earthworks, roads, rail, and structural works — while developing your technical and leadership skills in a supportive, high-performing team.
You'll be joining an award-winning Tier 2 contractor with an established pipeline of work across NSW. Expect genuine mentoring, progression, and the chance to move into a Senior Project Engineer or Project Manager role within a short timeframe.

About You
You're a capable and motivated engineer who enjoys delivering complex civil projects and leading teams. You'll bring:
* A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
* Experience on civil projects $10m+
* Background in earthworks, structures, roads, or rail
* Leadership and team coordination skills
* Strong planning, organisational, and communication ability
* Excellent understanding of safety, quality, and compliance
