About us
We are a university deeply connected to the land and people of our regions. Reflecting the spirit of regional Australia, we embody resilience, authenticity, and a commitment to collaboration. We cultivate well-rounded, forward-thinking individuals who contribute to the growth and prosperity of their communities. The Wiradjuri phraseyindyamarra winhanganha means the wisdom of respectfully knowing how to live well in a world worth living in. This phrase represents who we are at Charles Sturt University - our ethos. It comes from traditional Indigenous Australian knowledge, but it also speaks to the mission of universities - to develop and spread wisdom to make the world a better place. Leveraging advanced technology, we flourish as a cohesive yet geographically dispersed community, actively engaging and collaborating with individuals across Australia and globally.
