Clinical Nurse Manager Role
We are seeking a seasoned leader to oversee clinical and care services at our Residential Aged Care Facility in Albany. In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership, coordinating resident care, and facilitating the delivery of person-centered services.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will have experience in a leadership role in aged care and possess strong communication, problem-solving skills, and interpersonal skills. They will also have a comprehensive working knowledge of legislation governing aged care, including best practice guidelines and other relevant professional codes of practice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Comprehensive clinical assessment and review of resident care needs
* Facilitate and coordinate the admission process for new residents
* Provide leadership and promote a collaborative approach to clinical and care staff to ensure delivery of person-centred care
* Actively support and work cohesively with the clinical care and allied health team
* Monitor and minimise clinical risk and meet clinical quality KPIs
* Identify changes in residents' care needs in support of appropriate AN-ACC classification and funding
* Identify and support the development and clinical capability of the clinical care team
* Review and investigate clinical incidents
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will hold APHRA registration and have demonstrated experience in a leadership role in aged care. Relevant postgraduate studies and previous leadership experience are desirable.
