Howarth's Sheet Metal Fabrications are currently seeking a Sheet Metal Worker / Press Brake Operator to join our team - Experience preferred but training will be offered to the right candidate.

Established nearly 40 years and situated in Clontarf on the Redcliffe Peninsula, Howarth's has a reputation for quality work that we produce for various commercial industries. With modern machinery, Staff with decades long experience, we offer a One Stop Sheet Metal shop - Full Welding/Fabrication services - Laser Cutting - Punching - Folding/Bending.
POSITION
38 Hours - Monday to Friday - Casual to start - Full Time after qualifying period
Above Award rate - Paid Weekly
Early finish Fridays
Plenty of Overtime
Long term / Stable employment for the right Candidate
EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS
* Prior Press Brake operating experience in a similar manufacturing environment
* Minimum 1+ years of press brake operating experience required
* Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings accurately
* Using various other workshop machinery / hand tools etc.
* Demonstrate competency & confidence in all areas of Sheet Metal
* Intermediate level sheet metal skills and competency required
* Attention to detail and and an eye for quality
* Numerical skills
* Able to work in a Team Environment and adhere to Workplace policies
* Reliable transport is essential as we are situated in the industrial estate in Clontarf
* A Forklift licence would be advantageous but is not essential
