The Investment Performance Analytics team is excited to offer this new position as part of their high performing team that focuses on providing in-depth investment analytics to a variety of internal and external stakeholders. This role supports the team by maintaining and validating investment performance data, maintaining performance system and databases, and assist in compiling and analysing performance results to feed reports and dashboards.
The role is within a growing, supportive investment team and involves collaborating closely with both front and back office teams, as well as external technology suppliers and data providers to deliver accurate, complete, well governed performance data and reporting across a wide range of investments.
The successful person will have knowledge and practical experience working with investment data at security level, i.e. holdings, transaction, corporate actions, T&Cs, properties; along with experience with interpreting, manipulating analysing and problem solving data in relational databases using SQL to ensure data integrity, accuracy and completeness. You are able to interpret existing SQL scripts, write queries in SQL, writing scripts to draw out useful business insights and this should be from a superannuation, funds management, custody or asset consulting background.
- Experience with third party Investment systems such as Ortec PEARL, FactSet, BarraOne, Datastream, or Bloomberg is desired nd Experience writing code (e.g. Python) to automate data delivery (via sFTP or API) and data extraction to/from cloud platforms is beneficial.
