This role is key to delivering high-quality revenue service in accordance with recognised policies and legislative frameworks. You will oversee all functions within Private Practice Services, ensuring a seamless delivery of services.
Key Responsibilities
* Revenue Service Delivery: Provide a high level of revenue service for Private Practice Services.
* Software Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of Queensland Health common office software programs, clinical information systems and finance related systems.
* Process Improvement: Develop and implement work procedure manuals and identify opportunities for improvement.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, be able to work autonomously and as part of a team, and maintain knowledge of relevant software programs and systems to improve resource management and identify chargeable patients.
Health Equity is also an essential aspect of this role, where staff are expected to contribute to the health equity agenda and meet the intent of supporting the defined six actions that specifically meet the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS).
