**ABOUT YOU**
- **MUST** be an Australian Citizen - NO VISA accepted
- **MUST** be willing to do servicing and repairs
- **MUST** have experience as a Fire Alarm Technician;
- **MUST** be a qualified Technician;
- Good attention to detail - Fire alarm systems require meticulous attention to detail to ensure that they are installed, maintained, and repaired correctly;
- Technical and Analytical Skills;
- Time Management Skills;
- Strong customer service skills;
- Able to efficiently engage with a variety of stakeholders on all levels - both internal and external;
- Attention to safety;
- Basic computer skills will be necessary;
- A true team player with a strong can-do attitude;
- Current NSW driver's license;
- Passionate about the industry
**DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Certificate III in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing or equivalent;
- NSW Electrical License;
- White Card or Construction Induction Card;
- Minimum of 1 years experience working with fire alarm systems;
- Strong technical background and analytical skills;
- Excellent communication and customer service skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Commitment to safety and quality;
- Valid driver's license.
**THE ROLE**
Main duties would include (but are not limited to);
- Most work will be in the Canberra region;
- Install, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems in accordance with industry standards and client requirements;
- Conduct routine inspections, testing, and commissioning of fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning correctly;
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with fire alarm systems and develop recommendations for corrective action;
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of all work performed;
- Provide technical support and assistance to clients regarding fire alarm systems, including advice on upgrades and modifications;
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations;
- Attend call-outs and emergency situations as required to resolve issues with fire alarm systems;
- Work collaboratively with other team members and stakeholders to ensure that all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
