The Role

My FootDr Thuringowa is seeking a friendly and experienced Receptionist to join our Podiatry clinic team on a casual basis. We expect that our staff are enthusiastic and driven in their pursuit of knowledge and development.

The role is ideally suited to someone with a "can do" attitude, a background in administration and someone who is process driven. There are endless development opportunities for the right person!

Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Customer Service: Providing a warm and welcoming environment for all patients, ensuring a positive experience from the moment they enter the clinic.
* Appointment Management: Efficiently managing patient bookings, cancellations, and follow-up appointments.
* Footwear Fitting and Sales: Assisting customers with fitting and purchasing footwear, ensuring they receive the best possible advice and products.
* Sterilisation of Instruments: Ensuring all podiatry instruments are properly sterilised and maintained according to our stringent hygiene standards.
* Podiatrist Assistance: Providing assistance to podiatrists as needed, ensuring smooth clinic operations.
* Administrative Duties: Managing patient records, handling billing and payments, and performing general administrative tasks.

What We're Looking For

Ideally, we'd like someone with allied health or medical reception experience, but a positive attitude is by far the most important! We'd love to hear from those people who want to work in a dynamic and rapid‐paced team environment, and who are confident in meeting deadlines and working to achieve team‐based goals.

Ideal Candidates

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (including phone manner).
* Self‐motivated team player with a "can do" attitude and skilled presentation.
* Proficient use of Microsoft suite.
* A passion for excellent customer service.
* Ability to work under pressure and multi‐task with high attention to detail.
* Previous experience within Allied Health reception and patient care is highly regarded.
